I'll have plenty of "stuff" for sale at my tag sale in CT this spring. We need to get rid of it prior to moving to NH

Whatever doesn't sell is yours!

Just to be sure, define "this area." What town are you in?

Laconia has five different thrift stores; St Vincent DePaul, Goodwill, Salvation Army, To Good To Be threw, and Thrifty's (next to Goodwill).

Etcetera Shoppe in Meredith is very big with lots and lots of inventory.

There are usually real yard sales beginning in Spring and continuing through Summer and Fall.
All along there are some who have permanent yard sales - sort of a hobby business.

Rummage sales seems to be an outdated term - at least around here. Some churches do have a yearly one time sale of donated goods. That could be termed a rummage sale.

Flea markets are few and far between in the Lakes Region. There may have been one down in Gilford in the old Globe parking lot. In warm weather.

Weekend Flea Markets like one sees down South with hundreds of tables - I have not seen in this area. I guess weather and not enough population to make viable.

If anyone has any corrections - please update.
