Default Upthesaukee, the boat, is no more.

Upthesaukee, the boat, is no more. After ten mostly good years (I say mostly and most boatowners know exactly what I mean), it was time to give it up. That is the bad news.

The good news is that today we bought a 2009 Mariah SX25 bowrider with a 260 HP Mercruiser I/O, which is or will be called Upthesaukee Too !
The boat had .4 hours on it. Yup, you're reading it right. That would be Point Four hours. It is a holdover, and we got a deal that we could not refuse. It is red and white and handles beautifully.

Now if I can just adjust up the 6 extra feet in length and handle it .

Cool Don't you know I thought of that

And I paid particular attention to going under the bridge on the test ride. I had about 2-3 inches less space than I did in the Sunbird. The Mariah has a nice low profile, so we'll just pray for no record high lake levels.

Thanks all.

Default Let's try a couple of pictures

We'll try to post a couple of pictures here:

and a look inside from the stern looking to the bow.

At least I am not just another one of those black or dark blue boats on the lake . Wife says it is male menopause red . Yeah, maybe.

Nice boat!
Now you can take a few more passengers on that long ride under the bridge to the public docks for the long walk over to Pop's.

Congratulations! She looks like a real beauty! I'll look for you when you're heading from your slip towards the bridge.
