My buddy has a bird nest with four eggs on the inside of his back tire on his dirt bike....hopefully the picutre came out.....our question is how long for eggs to be hatched? can the nest be moved after the birds are born? any ideas thanks in advance.

they look like robins eggs
has there been activity around the nest? birds dont normaly leave their eggs unattented for long periods of time so you should see the parents around - if not it may be abandoned. they take approx 1 month from laying the eggs to their hatching and fledging - if you move the nest the parents will abandon it.
if you leave it and the eggs hatch, then the babies grow up and leave the nest - take the nest down right away or they will lay more eggs for round two! |

They look like robin eggs. According to Wikipedia "The eggs hatch after 14 days, and chicks leave the nest a further two weeks later.

The Mama bird comes back at dusk and is gone by the day, we have not touched anything and it's funny the nest was made overnight with just one egg and then the next dy three more arrived......got to love mother nature.

Here's Looking at You...

Expect to hear a "rustling" sound each time when encountering this nest's location: then look up in the nearest tree and I expect "Momma" will be looking directly down at you.
