Kneeboards
I'm looking to buy a new kneeboard. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the kind that have the retractable hook for holding the tow handle to make getting up easier. Is this just a gimmick or is it really useful, especially for the younger beginners?

Watched a friend's 8 year old use one once. It was very effective. Once up, he pulled the handle to himself and looked perfectly comfortable throughout the whole scene.

Not a gimmick!!! It really works. Especially for the older folks and kids. I had a guest on the boat this year that was up in 2 tries and kneeboarding using the "Aquatic hook". Don't buy a board without one.

Thanks Dave and 4fun - I'm going to take advantage of an end of season sale and invest in another water toy.
