Default Waste Management vs. Casella's ??

In Gilford (Gunstock Acres), we have been using Waste Mgt for 4 years and recently started having problems with their failure to pick up our garbage when there was some construction on our street. Their so-called customer service was useless.

We now see that Casella's also serves the area and is somewhat less expensive.

Does anyone have any comments in Casella's- good, bad, or otherwise?

Thanks in advance for any comments and/or advice.

We have been with Casella for 3 or 4 years and are very satisfied. No problems and reasonable rates.

Default Pinard

We use Pinard in Gilford. They have been great! Very accommodating when we need anything.

Default Waste Management NG!

I agree about the Waste Management problems. Their customer service is the worst. I used them several times for construction projects and had their 30 yard roll offs. It took 10 minutes on the phone just to get through to a human being to have the full dumpster replaced with an empty one.

I also used them for residential pick up and their workers repeatedly left my barrels on the street, on their sides, and the lids scattered everywhere. I even sent pictures and a complaint letter to their customer service department by both email and US Mail and they claimed they never received them.

I now use Pinard and they do a good job. I would get competitive quotes since like most companies trying to sell something they will start high but you can negotiate for better pricing.

Good luck!

I also have Pinard at my commercial properties for 20 years. Nothing but good things from here.
