Default Pop's Clam Shell Alton 2012

Pop's Clam Shell announced on their Facebook page that they will be opening for the 2012 season on April 28th. He has a request, per the page:

"Tell your friends... and tell people you don't like also."

Gotta love the sense of humor! Best wishes for a great season....bring on the clams and rings!

Drove by Sunday and saw your truck out front. I swear the truck pulled a little toward your place in anticipation. Clam strips, onion rings and root beer. Won't be long now.

Default Maybe Tomorrow

We were planning on taking a boat ride over to Pop's today... I don't think that is going to happen with the wind! Sorry Pop's, maybe tomorrow!

Default Went to Pop's for Lunch

Went to Pop's for lunch today, 4-28-2012. Opening day for 2012. Welcome back, and as RG says, go to their Facebook page and find a surprise for today. How were the rings and clams? In a word: "Bella"

Bring on the Sat. night concerts at the bay.

We stopped by on Saturday afternoon for our regular. Sat in the car across from the band stand and enjoyed every single bite. We waited a long time for the season to come and it was worth it.

Default Worth the wait

Stopped in for my baby shrimp and "Bella" onion rings for Sunday dinner. Gave me the energy to drive back to NJ shortly afterwards and still have leftovers for Monday night's dinner. Can't wait for the next trip back to NH. Too bad I didn't go on Sat., might have run into Uppie or Rattlesnake Guy & Gal.
