Where do they go for each parade? I believe for one of the parades they usually head down to 19 Mile Bay. Not sure which Sunday.

Default Steamboaters

These are the nicest people I have ever met, although, I am not sure I have ever met any of them directly. I have taken my granddaughter to Lee's Mills several years to see the gathering, and we have enjoyed talking with some of the owners and learning about steamboats. We have also enjoyed lunch at the snack tent, and several doughnuts for good measure (something we might have forgotten to disclose to her mother or to my wife!!).

I hope to visit this year, too, but we will be having out of town company during some of that time. There's always next year.

Default Race

Does anyone know the start time of the steamboat race tomorrow (Wednesday)?
I think it starts at the Moultonborough Town Docks and ends in 19 mile bay.

Great boats to look at and the owners love to talk and tell stories about them. Just another reason to LOVE the lake.

This Sunday is their last day. With a parade at 10am (per the flier I saw). I'll be there for that.

Thumbs up Beautiful!

What beautiful machines these are. I also visited the dock area last year and got to look over these marvelous boats and talk to their owners. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is a pleasure to observe. Looks like a fantastic hobby with a great group of people. Thanks for posting these pics garysanfran.
