Default Meredith Repair Shops

I used to go to Meredith Ford for my vehicle repairs and inspections, etc., but since they have moved to Plymouth I need to find a new place. Does anyone have any good experiences with other automotive repair shops in the Meredith area? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I use the Fullertons at Red Hill Automotive (Irving in Center Harbor) for many automotive needs. You can make an appt and then eat at Red Hill Dairy next door while waiting!

One of the best and honest independent repair shops is:

Larson's Automotive Service
22 Airport Rd
Moultonborough, NH 03254

(603) 476-2591

Located in Moultonborough at the airport.

Whether you choose Larsons or one closer to Meredith. Do all of your oil changes, car inspections, etc. and build up a relationship with the owner/manager of repair shop.

Default Honest Businesses

Looks like all the honest Mom and Pop businesses are on the 'noncommercial' side of the lake. Gilford and surrounding towns use to have great businesses. Now they are all franchises etc. and they are all about greed, not wonderful service. =(

Default Lovering Volvo

Lovering Volvo in Meredith now has a sign out that they service Ford vehicles. My wife has been using them for her previous XC-90 and now her XC-60 and we've had very positive experiences with their service.

I have had really great luck with Winnipesaukee truck (106 in Belmont) when it comes to my diesel repairs. They were great to deal with, and had a lot better prices then the dealership and work was done right the first time.
I have also had one of our vehicles serviced at Laconia garage right across from Granite State glass in Laconia. He was also fair with prices and a pleasure to do business with.
Personality goes a long way at least for me, I’ve found that most of the dealerships in this area have lost touch with customer service.
But it was the same way when I was in big business in the semiconductor industry, the bigger a business gets the more your just a employee number and less of a person.

I'll agree with comment about Lovering Volvo. They have driven me after leaving my car.

Week ago, I found nail in my tire and slow leak. Got great service at repair opposite Meredith Ford, green sign but can't remember name. Not the place north of Cumberlands', but he is good also.
