Default How much ice is left?

How much ice is out in the main bodies of the lake? Is there any point in me putting at at say West Alton or Meredith etc.? Can I even put in at those locations due to remaining ice?

I know things are breaking up but not sure that means it's worth putting in for a day trip anywhere.

Thanks.

Default Rattlesnake

Went to Rattlesnake yesterday and did not see any ice all day! Not many boats either. No floating debris. I will likely be there again tomorrow. I would not hesitate, but keep your eyes open, particularly if it is windy

Default how much ice

I fished Winter harbor on Monday and it was pretty much still socked in with shifting ice. seemed damn solid too! no fish, water was 39F. moved over to Wolfy Bay and caught one as we went past the town dock and into the lake water was a balmy 42-43 near the inlet

Thanks all. As to side-scan-sonar I have long list of things to re-scan and a long list of things to dive from last year I scanned but didn't have time to dive.

Have more boats, more barges and some real mystery targets-no idea what they are. I've looked at thousands of sonar images and I just don't know what to make of some of them.

It's going to be a very interesting summer.
