Default No interior details, but...

I can add a little.

It's got two 350CID Ford engines, it sounds like a gas-turbine engine when at WOT (wide-open-throttle), is docked for more months than the usual summer season at the south tip of Tuftonboro Neck, and appears to ride very smoothly.

The turbine sound is likely due to a gearbox, and that sound is unmistakable. It's missing little in the speed department, too.

Yes, the lines are dated, but it oozes "cool".

"Bill", the owner, nearly ran my kayak over backing another wood boat -- "Dolphin" -- to reposition it on the trailer at a ramp awhile back.

I asked him at the time if he owned "Dauntless", and he replied "I am Dauntless". Not pressing the issue, and curious about the strange mechanical sounds, I asked what it had for engine power. (The Ford 350's).

It usually takes short -- but fast -- rides just prior to sundown.

The owner's last name is a familiar one to most, and you may have stayed at his many hotels -- of a world-wide chain.

It can't be Paris Hilton's father so it must be a Marriot?

I just learned last night that the owner used to gas up with 100-octane aircraft fuel at the Lakes Region Airpark Seaplane dock. Then he got his own supply in a boathouse.

(For a while, anyway...then KA-BOOM! Spent some weeks in a Boston burn unit, but it could have been fatal had he not been blasted into the lake).
