Default She is headed home !

The New Hampshire Boat Museum in Wolfeboro will acquire The Little Mount Washington, affectionately known as "The Mini Mount." This is the wonderfull 50' scale replica of the M/V Mount Washington cruising Winnipesaukee. The move will occur sometime in 2016-date, time and route to be announced. Thanks to all who have helped in this endeavor to save the "Mini"

Hooray and congratulations on finding a permanent home for "The Little Mount Washington". Some shots from Ch. 9 Chronicle.

Default Mini Mount

Will it ever go back into the water or will it be permanently drydocked?

That was my thought exactly. Isn't home cruising around Winnipesaukee?

That's awesome! Glad to see it will still be around for the public to view...I have a 2 yr old granddaughter and a 2 month old grandson....they'll grow to know it, too!

I know that at 50' she's a big boat, but it's unfortunate that she won't be displayed inside and protected from all the elements.

The plan is for the "Mini" to have a good shelter, though probably not indoors. The hope is that she will end up down by the water under some type of protective pavilion and quite visible.
