Default Flies.

So I have been out walking lately. I am up to 4 miles per day now. I take 4, 1 mile walks at different times of day, as part of my cardiac rehab.
I have noticed that the little flies are starting to come around. Not too bad but definitely starting to be noticeable. I got a few up my nose on tonight's walk. Anyone else notice or think they are going to be bad this year with the lack of water....Knowing it is going to rain Tuesday that is.

Default Black flies out in Alton

We were out in the yard today, and my wife had to put on her bug baffler mesh top to keep the little #$@#$s at bay. Nasty little rascals.

Are you talking about "no-see-ems" ?

My biggest complaint about the lake are the flies and skeeters. The skeeters follow me when I take a walk down the road. They are literally in a swarm when I look behind me.

Can't speak for Lakesrider (Hope you are feeling better each day, Lakesrider), but I am talking about black flies, pesky black flies, swarming black flies, biting black flies, love to get in your eyes - ears- nose black flies...yup, you know the kind.

Not to mention "much stronger' black flies, they had to battle the wind the last few days to get to you but they did.
