Default Stereo Amplifier Installation

I was looking for recommendations for installation of an amplifier for my boat. I am trying to make it so that we can hear the stereo while underway. Thanks in advance Bill

I'd suggest you plan on new speakers at the same time. OEM speakers
are usually the weakest link in terms of volume and fidelity. Even modestly
priced aftermarket speakers are much better than most stock speakers,
and you'll probably need them to handle the additional power.

(high end optional audio systems are an obvious exception)

There was a place in Laconia who should be able to reccomend the proper amp / speaker combination. I am thinking of doing the same. Does anyone remember the name of the place that does this ? It was on the forum before, but now I can't find it. Thanks.

There are two places that do stereo installs in laconia... Kellys over off 107 and Vanworks located next to the high school. Both are pretty reputable from what I have heard.

Thanks for the help. I set it up with Van Works. They come highly recommended.
