Default Laconia boat fees

http://www.laconiadailysun.com/story...fter-boat-fees

What this article does not say is that you save five dollars from what Laconia charges by purchasing your registration from the Marine Patrol at the Gilford docks, plus while you are there, you get to park your car in what has got to be the most prestigious, special, waterfront, parking spot(2 & hp) on the lake.

Every municipality and marina charges a five dollar processing fee for a boat registration, which they get to keep, while the Marine Patrol does not charge you the extra five bucks; plus over in Gilford at MP-HQ www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/ss/marinepatrol/ you get a super-duper freebie parking spot directly on the water, so's you can go take a 5-minute gander at all the 16-different Marine Patrol police-cruiser boats, while there. You save five, and get to stretch your legs a bit strolling those Glendale-Gilford town docks.........it's worth the trip, plus SHARON the MP Officer in charge of registrations knows all the registration fees and fine print, upside down and backwards! Sharon is the one to see when you got a problem with a registration, like when you just bought a used sailboat from a private party that had no previous registration, or something!

Say-hey......it's worth going to MP-HQ at the Glendale-Gilford town docks just to get to use their special visiter parking spots, right up close to the Gilford fire boat.......the three MP visiter parking spots ( 2-reg & 1-hp) make you feel like a champion.....like you have really ARRIVED and they are totally free-to-use while inside doing business with the NH Marine Patrol!
