Default Center Harbor

After near a thousand breakfasts in Meredith (Georges), the Weirs (Donna Jenas), and Melvin Village (way long ago - who can recall) can someone tell me where is good to go in Center Harbor?

Thats our traveling meal of the day, I would love some feedback.

Thanks!

I know you said CH, but the Village Kitchen is only 5 minutes over the line.

Sam and Rosies in CH.

Right near George's diner in Meredith, and I know you said Center Harbor as well, but Sunshine and Pa's is excellent.

I love the Center Harbor diner. It's not much to look at, but the food is great and the service is friendly. Plus, prices are very reasonable! I used to take my daughter for lunch there when I had to get my oil changed next door, and they always made us feel welcome. Try them out!

Sam and Rosies is excellent it is a Saturday morning tradition for my family. It is very nice family run restaurant. And to top it off has a nice view down to the docks....

I have heard nothing but good reviews for the Center Harbor Diner Although I personally haven't eaten their.

Last as recommend by Vita Bene, the Village Kitchen is about 5 mins further north on 25 in Moultonborough, and is highly recommend as well. The last time I was in their a few years ago, I was stuffed after a 6$ breakfast.

Default Kevin's for Breakfast

We live in Center Harbor and our favorite place for breakfast is Kevin's Cafe. His omelets are nice a fluffy, you can get crab cakes benedict which are great too. His prices are very reasonable too. We also go to Sam and Rosie's and the VK and like both, but Kevin's is hands down our favorite.

This past weekend we arrived on Friday night and ended up at Kevin's for dinner and then went back again Saturady morning for breakfast!

Default breakfast

I, too, was a George's regular for years and years for breakfast.
And three years back switched to George's when boat, Village Kitchen, when car.
If you are in Center Harbor, make the very short drive north (couple miles, on the right...sign reads "Country Cookin' "), and try VK. You simply won't be disappointed.
Service is perfect every single time...regardless of the size of the crowd...which can get quite large.
When combining all aspects of a restaurant for an inexpensive meal...all aspects...Village Kitchen would have to be considered one of the highest rated.
Combine atmosphere (a place that makes you feel like you are vacationing at the lake), price, service, food quality, cleanliness...and you just can't miss at VK.
Give it a shot...service with a smile.
