Default New Kitten-Good News

Hi Everyone: After losing our wonderful 6 year old Bluepoint Siamese, Zuli, at the end of April to HCM (a genetic heart problem) we have learned that the breeder who owns Zuli's Dad has bred him and they are expecting kittens in mid July. They have kindly put our name at the top of the kitten list, and we will be getting a half-brother or half-sister to Zuli at end of September, if all goes as planned. We are so pleased at this turn of events. Thanks everyone for your kind words about Zuli-he is really missed.

Default Kittens have been born

On July 12 we received news that four kittens have been born who are related to Zuli. This means that we will meet the kittens sometime late August, and will be bringing home a kitten in October (10-12 weeks old). It is magical to have the chance to acquire a kitten related to Zuli - the most mischievous and smartest cat we've ever had. I will post photos when we get them. Thank you for asking.

Default Kitten photos

I was fortunate to travel to Mass. to meet the new litter of kittens sired by Zuli's dad... one Seal Point and three Chocolate point kittens. We believe they are all females. Certainly too early to make a decision. They are too cute.

Aw, I had a half siamese once ( mother was a siamese and got mixed up with someone else) and that was one of the sweetest cats I ever had. It makes me want a kitten!! Every kitten I see makes me want a kitten!!

Default Miss Jazzy joins the gang

So, after 12 weeks of waiting, meeting her and her sisters twice, we finally have brought Miss Jazzy home on October 4. We kept her and Bucky (our 11 yr old Seal point) separated, only able to see each other through a 2-inch opening the the door until Sunday afternoon. Bucky seemed to be calm and not the least bit territorial, so Sunday evening we had them in the same room. Now on Wednesday they are playing together. She is so tiny that when she jumps on Bucky, I don't think he even notices. He looks like a harbor seal compared to her!!! Cosmo the Wonder Dog is eager to participate but he is leashed in her presence right now. To her he looks like Black Satan!

Great news!

My wife just told me she wants a Savannah Cat (some 30 pound terror). We already have 3 housecats (ferals) and a dog...

I would like a Savannah cat also. Maybe we can share him and he can terrorize two different parts of town.

Default Updated Kitty photos

Hi Everyone: We brought Miss Jazzy Blue Shoes home on October 4, and all things considered, everything has gone quite smoothly. Cosmo the dog still wants to chase her, but it hasn't phased her. She is getting along so well with Bucky, our Sealpoint Siamese who is 12 years old, and follows him around... if he is another room and trills or calls - she will run off to find him. No Christmas tree this year-but that's okay. Have a nice holiday!
