Does anyone know if the public boat launch at Leavitt Park in Meredith,
has parking facilities for vehicles and trailers?

Thanks

Leavitt Park is in Laconia.

Leavitt Beach which is in Meredith, close to Centre Harbor, has an unpaved parking lot, about one acre big. Calling that narrow dirt road to the water a public boat launch is a bit of a stretch. It does not have any launch ramp for backing a boat into the lake. It is a dirt road that starts at the parking lot and winds through the woods and stops at the water. The sign there says kayak and canoe launch, and there's lifeguards on duty who could call the police, if they chose to.

Can you launch a motor boat there......probably not. Maybe something like a 14' rowboat w/ an outboard but will the lifeguards allow it? I don't know but I doubt it?

probably the best place for to launch is center harbor. close to your vaca spot but for parking your boat trailer somewhere...try contacting goodhue marine. 603-253-7889. may charge like $100-200 for a week storage for your trailer. they are on rte 25 about 1.25 miles past the end on moultonboro neck rd heading towards moultonboro.
