The Mug-Meredith
One place that does not seem to get mentioned much is The Mug in Meredith. Located on Rte 3 going North from Meredith. We have been going there for many years and it is a great value for your money. Varied menu, something for everyone, prompt service everytime. The owner is always around making sure everyone is satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I too will give a good recommendation for the mug. Not fancy, but a good value for the money. Last time I was there they were holding a beer tasting show.

They make a very good Steak & Cheese wrap.
Thumbs up for The Mug, one of our favorite places to eat locally. |

Love THE MUG
My desperate search for a good burger was my yellow brick road to this forum 2 years ago.
Saw a great review of The Mug and it's been my favorite burger on the lake ever since. Sign up for their e-mail newsletter and they'll send you a coupon each month!!! |

The Moultonboro Location of "The Mug" albeit quite different from the Meredith version, being that it is more of a sub shop/deli, is a great quick lunch stop for my family. We really like having that as an option for lunch in this area. If you haven't tried it, give it a try. Expect a real casual sub shop type environment, the food is good though.

The Mug is a great place. Love the Meredith location. great food and relaxing atmosphere. the center harbor location is a good "grab food on the go" place. haven't really spent alot of time there but still great food.
love the dyno burger and grand slam. mmm food. lol

ditto the second location
The Moultonborough sub shop (Moultonborough, Moultonborough, Moultonborough) is awesome, most of the same menu, great pizzas, and definitely shouldn't be overlooked!
And no, that's not a stutter. I'm on a one woman mission to take back that piece of M'Borough so many of you give to Center Harbor. |

As long as we are in the mode of being proper, the 'Meredith' Mug is actually well inside the town line of Centre Harbour
