I was wondering if anyone knows....

Where is the best place to park at the Weirs for a daytime cruise? Right at the Mount Dock? Are there still meters there?

I'm going on the Mount this summer, something I haven't done in over 10 years, it's funny, I live around here, and haven't taken advantage of all this area has to offer. I guess it's cause the residents take it for granted.

Doesn't it though?! My friends are good to me and I love it! Thanks!

Goosejr, this is from their website regarding the parking:

Note: There is plenty of metered parking at Weirs Beach. Passengers should park at five hour meters and feed the meter for the appropriate length of their cruise. If you are boarding in Weirs Beach and plan to get off the ship and visit another port and return later in the day, please park at an all-day lot as you will not be back before the meter expires.

Cruise and tour: I don't think that I mentioned that you can get off the ship to shop or dine, getting back on when it come back to port. You just have to make sure you don't get off on their return trip!

Anyone know when the "shake-down" cruise is scheduled. I want to be sure to catch it on one of the webcams.

Boy, that would be the day after the day I turn "Over 60"
