Service at Goodhue & Hawkins Navy Yard
Can anyone comment on the competence of, or their experience with, the Service Dept at Goodhue & Hawkins? I did a search and nothing came up about their service in the last 2-3 years.
Primary concern is the skill of the mechanics - but a pleasant experience with the staff/management, work done as promised, and not needing a Brinks truck to pay the bill are secondary concerns. Thanks |

great people, dedicated, but...
I had an experience with an eletrical problem a couple of years ago. They came each time as promised. 4 in total icluding a tow in. Installed a part in an attempt to correct. When it was all said and done they showed great dedication, but could not solve the problem, which ended up being fairly simple for another mechanic.

I kept a boat there for a couple of years. The 05 and 06 seasons. Nice people. They will get on problems quickly, but they are expensive. As far as mechanical ability, I'd rate them a B.
