Default New car that tows skiers

Check out this new car that supposedly will pull a water skier. It says it has a top speed of 30 mph which is fast enough, but I wonder if the power of the jet drive on a heavy car is enough to pull a skier out of the water.Pretty cool though!

Default Cool!

But my first thought is whether or not I'd want my car out on the broads.

There is no way you would catch me in the Broads in an amhpicar.Worse would be the turbulant waters on the Weirs side of the Channel.

Maybe four years ago, someone had a World War II, Porsche Schwimmwagen (Volkswagen Schwimmwagen Wikipedia) putt-putt past buoy 3. It moved through the water at a slow speed and looked a bit like a beach buggy built from a VW Beetle.

That's OK SS, you can ride through the broads in my new amphibian called the Humdinga.

I saw two old amphicars coming out of Glendale a few weeks ago on a rather rough Saturday. They were rounding Varney point and heading towards Silver Sands. They looked like they were having a rough time of it, with wakes and waves crashing over the hoods. I took a picture on my camera phone but it was not really clear enough to post.

The same company also makes a combination pwc/atv that looks pretty slick as well called the quad ski.

Last Saturday when I was pulling my boat out at the Gilford ramp,I saw one of those drive in.It was very rough when I came in and I was thinking I wouldn't be going to far out in that craft.

For that price I can have a Vette (not a Z06) and Correct Craft with money left for gas. But some one will want one just to be different or the first on the block to own one.
