Default Rhymes Propane Service

Has any one used Rhymes for their Propane Supplier?

I know they are Ossipee, do they service Moultonboro?
How are their Prices and Service?

Thanks,

Default Rhymes.

They are also out of Loudon. I think they purchase Kidder Fuel, who provided our propane on the lake for decades. Rhymes is the only supplier I am aware of that has an extra long delivery hose to fill propane tanks that are situated a ways from the road.

Default Rymes = Excellent

We recently switched to Rymes for all our oil, propane and burner servicing. Couldn't be happier so far with them. Good pricing and great service!!

Default Rhymes Propane Service

I have Rymes for oil and service, and I have had excellent service from them for about 10 years.

An outright scam.
At least when I had them about 8 years ago.
That scam at that time was a call from Rymes.
A "mandatory" safety check.
Technicians came out and stated that my system was too old and about to fail.
Needed a new complete furnace.

Well, fast forward. That same furnace is still working fine.
I pay Christian Repair out of Tilton to come and check the system every Summer.

I wonder how many homeowners Rymes scammed on that one.

Yes I can. I have the "safety" audit. I received the phone call. The word "mandatory" was used.

AND I traveled to Concord to Rymes office and stated my concerns to the manager at that time. Specifically about he word "mandatory".
He stated that the "safety" audits were "voluntary" and would continue.
That no Rymes employee should have used the word "mandatory".
At that point I dropped Rymes.

Maybe today that policy has changed.

Default State law

I do know there is a state law that whenever gas service was disrupted due to a changeover or repairs the technician must assure all pilots are working. Most technicians calls this a 'safety' inspection and for good reason. I think the Professor should bring this up with the state.

That is correct. All should be aware of this. All vents are checked. All serial numbers of all gas appliances are recorded. All has to be up to date with the most current gas fittings.

My time with Rymes was few/many years. So they had done this before when I started with Rymes.

I'd still be with Rymes if they didn't pull this hanky panky.

There is no excuse for this predatory business behavior by this propane company.

i had rymes install 2 bottles and gas lines for my generator. i wasn't impressed at all with their work. the bottles were not level or even close to it, and the gas line was run along the back of the house at waist level when i had requested that it be run along the bottom of the siding. that neon yellow gas line looks wonderful against the beige siding... going to get them to come back and make it right.
