Thumbs up View from Bald Knob

A beautiful fairly easy hike can be found here. We saw about 6 people during the whole hike. Park off #171 in Moultonbourgh just past The Castle in the Clouds entrance. Parking is opposite the entrance. Consult the map for different trails. Well marked. Beautiful.

Thumbs up There Yesterday!

By coincidence, our neighborhood hiking group hiked to Bald Knob (and Turtleback Mtn.) yesterday. It was a beautiful day for a hike. Here's a picture of part of our group at the peak of Bald Knob.

Here's a panorama shot of what we saw yesterday from the top of Bald Knob:

I made this hike with my dog a few times and the view is great. I wanted to try it again but the forum has indicated that the consevancy had closed all the trails. Have they reopened the trails?

I don't believe any of the hiking trails have been closed. Some of the snowmobile trails have been.
