Smile Happy Cow Ice Cream Shop

Stopped in to happy Cow Ice Cream two weeks ago to pick up some Flurries. Fast, friendly service and very good Ice Cream loaded with toppings. Went back today to get some more Flurries. Same great Ice Cream loaded with toppings. Nice to see a young owner start up a new independent business in Laconia. The only negative was that I had to wait in line to get my Ice Cream, they were very busy.

Post 385 Union Ave

We tried the Happy Cow a few weeks back and were happy (a little secret - there is no cow ). Seriously, it is nice to see an ice cream place in the neighborhood; service was friendly and fast...good ice cream.

Default Bob's Fish Market

Where the fish market use to be. I stop there tonight and the staff was very friendly. They carry Blake's ice cream, well known in the Manchester area. It is worth a stop!

Default Best hot fudge sundae for the price!

A few weeks ago I stopped in one night because they had a "Hot Fudge Sundae ... $4" sign out. Nice large scoop of ice cream with a LOT of fudge, whipped cream, etc. Certainly better value than DQ.

Default Happy Cow Ice Cream

For all you die hard ice cream lovers, Happy Cow is still open. Went for the first time a couple weeks ago. Not the kind of weather to sit outside eating ice cream, you say? Not to worry, they have a cozy little nook inside where you can sit and enjoy a myriad of flavors away from old Jack Frost. Tried the Graham Central Station - delicious stuff. Amazing how those little chocolate covered "crunchies" within retain their crispness. Nice place, friendly people and fabulous ice cream. My only regret was that I didn't get to meet the happy cow - maybe next time!

Default Doin' the Cow Cow Boogie in NH

How do you know that this happy cow is not from California? May have flown in during the summer and decided to stay.

Default Happy Cow

I have tried this place and was very happy with it. As noted by others, fast and friendly service. While I am a coffee lover I do not like coffee ice cream. However a friend got theirs and I tasted it and really liked it!

ok, ok I'll give you that I guess. Highly unlikely though I mean a cow with his pilots license? Right, now your pushing it.

Default Why Not?

You refer to "his" pilot's license. In all due respect, this is a happy "girl" cow. No bull! Ya can't get blood out of a rock and ya can't get ice cream from a bull. If Maxwell the pig can drive a convertible, then why not a cow with a pilot's license? Just makes sense.

Default Why Not???

If a cow can jump over the moon, a trip from California would be a piece of cake [a la mode, of course].

Default Happy Cow Article

There is an article in today's Laconia Daily Sun about the Happy Cow Ice Cream Shoppe. They will be open until the end of December, then will close for two months and reopen again in March. Merry Christmas Happy Cow and all the best in the New Year!

Default Awaiting the Happy Cow's Return

Not to rush the season, but has the Happy Cow opened yet? I was reading the other day that Donovan the Osprey is on his way back to Tilton from Venezuala and should arrive in about a week or so. Wonder if the Happy Cow is wending her way back from California or has she already arrived?
