Default Moose thrill

I know this was not Winnipesaukee area, but I was up in Pittsburg sledding over the weekend and came upon these two magnificent moose. I immediately stopped and never got close. They checked me out for 1-2 minutes and then gently trotted away. I fortunately had my camera out in a second, zoomed in and just started clicking. Priceless!

I appreciate your respect for them. I've been in some iffy situations with moose while sledding even when I WAS being respectful.... and I don't intend to find out what happens if I DO disrespect them!

Default Moose in Meredith

I was sledding in Meredith a few weeks ago (behind the Meredith Woods campground) and there were moose prints all over the place. I've seen many moose in Pittsburg but I'm still hoping to see one in Meredith.
