Need a good fishing guide
We will be having out of State guests coming to visit during the first week in September. Could someone please recommend a good fishing guide for the lake? My husband isn't much of a fisherman, but the guy visiting loves to fish. So my husband thought it might be a good idea to go out with a guide for a day. (They'll also need fishing licenses) Is that something that the guide can help us with or do we need to take care of that ahead of time? Thanks!

Meredith Bay Guide Service. Chuck kenney is the guide, and he is a Retired Fish&Game Officer, and a excellent guide. He knows the lake very well for both salmon and bass. His phone# is 1-603-344-1314. Located right there in Meredith.

Guides
Find out in advance if your friend would rather fish for bass or the salmonoids. Go to fishwinni where there a list of Winni and Squam guides.

I think Shawn Mazerka in Wolfeboro still guides. He used to be with "The Mad Fisherman" a lot. I don't know if he still is.
