Default Summer Sunset

Well it felt like summer last evening, April 16th. It was 78 degrees at sunset with a soft warm southwest breeze. There was a sailboat just off Belknap Point on a sunset cruise and there was a hint of a haze in the air.

The boulder looming in the bottom right was named Sunset Rock by early summer visitors to Welch. They would gather thereby to watch the sunset. Now we have a small "sunset patio" upon which to set our chairs.

No matter how many of these pics you see or take, they are still unbelievable and I can't get enough. You would think it would get old, it doesn't!

Default Cinco de Mayo

Well the sun is setting further toward the northwest 3 weeks later and it was only about 60 degrees at sunset but still pretty nice with a light southwest breeze.
