Default Flotsam is still in the lake

Hi all, I have been on the lake this week and have picked up a piece of floating debris each day. I hope today will be the beginning of clear running.
So keep an eye out for junk in the water. The repair you avoid may be your own.

We hauled out a 5 foot long old limb out of the lake on our way to East Bear Island early Sunday morning. We are always on the lookout for such items. Our early boating was done on the Ohio River [and other inland rivers] where floating tree sections were common. We called them "hull inspectors".

Default What have you found ...

... floating around out on the lake? I have picked up my fair share of lumber, biggest piece about a 4 foot 4X4, many 2x6 short pieces like you would find under a bob house. Once I towed a large limb to shore where I left it on the shore. I have found dozens of hard, soft, tennis, soccer, beach, basket and volley balls and all the bumpers I'll ever need.
