Default Idea for Gas Prices...can we do it?

A few years ago when gas was about double what it is today, I stumbled upon this site: http://www.newhampshiregasprices.com/.

Soooo I was wondering...can we do something like that here? Maybe have a page for updated gas prices? I know we have the thread right now, but that quickly becomes outdated and then we have to search again for them.

If someone knew HTML/Java or some other coding, the page could be updated by the users and wouldn't have to have someone constantly updating it.

All of the gas prices on the linked page are user submitted and on the honor system.

Just a thought and it may be too much for us... (But hey, I was thinking!)

Default I Put This Link Out Here Before....

Just type in you're zip code, and you will get the latest gas prices in you're area.

KTO, just type in you're city or zip code at the top of the page, and click on search. http://autos.msn.com/everyday/GasStationsBeta.aspx

Ok I think one of us is confused...

I mean for boat gas. This map seems to only show land stations.

Haha sorry I'm making this so much harder than it should be

KTO, it doesn't look like any of the marinas want to advertise their fuel prices on-line. Maybe we should all get together and ask them to.

Hey it looks like gas has hit an all time low of $0.00. Great! I'm going out all day tomorrow!

Alright, so I think that just means they haven't been updated, but this would be a good thing to have forum members update as we see them.

It would be a little bit easier to understand than the thread we have. Just an idea, thanks trfour!

For the last few years, we have had threads where members have posted the current prices around the lake. Here is 2009's link...

KTO,

Can you let me know what marina is offering $0.00. I need to find a tanker so that I can stock up on fuel for the next few years.

all get together, and put a bug in their ear, so to speak, and make them aware of this web-site and have them update their gas prices, ya know maybe they could adjust for say a penny or two, depending on their proffit margins and take in a few more customers on a weekend or beyond. My point is that if they are more aware, and don't have to take a boat ride, or worse, go by car around the Lake to check out the competition, maybe we could all have a better boat ride.
What say, come'on back?

Thanks meredith weekender!

I updated 1 and added 2 Marinas. This could be pretty cool if it actually works, but they are missing a lot of area marinas...
