Default Looking for Pet-Friendly Slip

Soon to be new boat owner, looking to rent a slip in Gilford or Alton where we can bring a dog on board with us. Do the marinas allow pets?

Mountain View (MVYC) does not allow pets to be brought on premisis unless you own the slip so unless you plan on spending $100k on a slip this one is out of the question. I have never heard of any others that turn away pets.

Default West Alton Marina

Try West Alton Marina. They are cheaper than MVYC I believe. However, there is generally a waiting list.

Great place to be though.....

Default Thanks for the info

I was aware of the pet restrictions @MVYC, nice place ... strange that owners can bring pets in, but renters can't.

WAM is a good option, I'll give it a try.

Anyone have any info on Silver Sands?

There are some slips for rent at Gilford Yacht Club. Some are posted on the bulliten board on the side of the clubhouse and a couple are posted as For Rent signs on the slips. If youre around there on the weekends see Dave the guy that runs the boatlift, he knows just which ones are for rent. and they allow pets there.
