Default Blizzard allowed out on work release

You just can't make this stuff up. Was supposed to be 6 months before she was eligible for work release. Ends up at little more than 30 days? Must be that new math or something.

Be sure to honk and wave if an SUV with "XTREME" plates blasts by you on the highways and by-ways around Laconia.

Sounds like Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan sentencing- good to be a celebrity, albeit a minor one, in this country!

What a sham. This illustrates a big problem in America, no one is held accountable for their actions. The other thing that irks me about this case is it took a court action for Blizzard to pay for her friends funeral expenses.

Default its economics...

It doesnt matter if it was Erica or any other person.... the plain and simple truth is we have more criminals than we have space for... and it costs a ton of $$$ to house & feed a prisoner. Our jails are overcrowded and understaffed. Nobody wants to pay to build and staff new jails. Perhaps if the economic climate was better, the state would not have closed the prison in Laconia and and an early release for her and others might not have happened.

In the case of the arrogant, like her, I might be willing to make a donation.

According to the victim's sister, Blizzard has yet to comply with that order from the court.

From the Union Leader article:

"...Guarino said there has been no check, no call, no letters or sense of remorse expressed by Blizzard to her family “First I was sad and depressed,” Guarino said. “Now I am angry...”

Skip this is interesting...... and SOTD brings a good point up.... If Blizzard doesn't pay (I am sure there is some time limit)..... As the resident Forum legal expert do you know what would happen next... Is she held in contempt of Court? (this is my assumption) or does this open up more cans of worms then that.

Pretty sure I saw this plate a couple days ago. Glad it was before happy hour.
