Default I know we are waiting on Spring....

But, you have to admit the snow in the trees this morning looked pretty spectacular. Mother Nature is indeed not done with her white washing quite yet....

Tangled snow.....

This morning around sunrise...

Very nice pictures.
Knowing that these few inch's of fresh snow will have mostly melted away by the days end makes the storm not as depressing or as big a PIA that it would be had it happened in say, February.
Come on warm spring weather. I have a porch floor to refinish, house trim to paint, deck to reseal etc and I'm itching to get started.

Default Beautiful Scenery This Morning

It really was a "winter wonderland" this morning with the new snow clinging to all the tree branches. I took the following photo at 9:20 AM before the snow started to melt. It's a view of Sleepers Island from the West Alton mainland.

Just as long as it is all finished by Thursday at noon....That is when our plane takes off for Florida. Ahhh......80-90 degrees here I come. Charley's Steak House, Universal (roller coasters), Sea World, Daytona Harley Davidson, air boat ride, and a bunch of other stuff crammed into 6 days and 7 nights. Heck, I'll need a rest when I get back.....I can't wait to scare away everyone at the pool when they see my big white belly coming their way.......

We will be in Florida also on Friday. Our trip starts off visiting our son in Tampa. After we see Jersey Boys for the second time we will travel to our timeshare in New Smyrna Beach. I promised my husband a one day trip to the Disney or Universal. Other than that it is the beach, beach and more beach.

If you like air shows, there is the Sun n Fun in Lakeland which is not too far. My Friend Mike Goulian is doing a couple of aerobatic runs at the show. He flys the Red Bull plane as well as his own.

yes, I'm waiting on Spring. It's March 27th, and it feels more like January 27th. We need a warm up soon, or else Ice-Out will be happening on bike week!

Has anyone looked at the forecast for Friday? I heard 6-12 inches, they're not sure yet, anyone else hear anything about amounts?

Cool last snow fall contest

I firmly believe that there will be no more snow in Wolfeboro after Aprol 5. I am permimently return there on April 6. I am now sitting in 80 degree weather in FL having had high winds, 6 foot seas, and heavy rain yesterday. I had to cancel my last boat trip.
Maybe we should start a last snow fall contest.
