Default New buoy north of Five Mile Island

Bizer has been informed by an observant boater and also the Marine Patrol that a new buoy has been set about 200m north of light #57. It's approximate location is depicted by the circled buoy in the attached chart. Lieutenant Dunleavy of the Marine Patrol said that it marks a six-foot rock that could be hit by a deep-draft vessel when the water is low.

Bizer will not be able to get to Winnipesaukee for another few weeks. If anyone with a GPS is passing by this buoy, I'd appreciate a lat/lon reading. Either post it here or email me at newbuoy@bizer.com.

Thank you, MP, for keeping Bizer informed of changes.
