Just to beat a dead horse, Rusty and Karen are both right in the use of disclaimer. If one took a literal definition of the word, to disclaim would be to denounce a prior statement or cede a claim to something. But popular usage of "disclaimer" includes statements that clarify the parameters of a claim in order to avoid liability if expectations resulting from the statement are not met. Thus, they're both kind of right. See
