My statement that they are both slipping is based on their current and past TripAdvisor and Yelp customer satisfaction ratings. A few years ago they were rated number one in each of their respective communities. Not so much anymore.

Again, I have never, ever been to the Canoe. I have been to their other restaurant O's many times and I misspoke in that post. I meant to say O's but the OP in that thread was asking about restaurants on the north part of the lake and I meant to say O's but I was thinking Canoe which is in Center Harbor. I'm sure their Lobster Mac & Cheese is every bit as good as O's.
BTW, personally I would not characterize a restaurant that is packed on a Tuesday night in October as slipping, but that's just my opinion.
