Default Remember your neighbors in this heat wave

I'm posting this as a reminder to check on your neighbors and friends and family - especially the elderly and disabled - during this heatwave we're experiencing. This isn't going to break until Saturday, from the sounds of it.

There's some "cooling centers" opened up where people can go to spend time in the AC. The closest to the Lakes Region is in Rochester:

ROCHESTER - Public Library (65 South Main St.) - 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday

ROCHESTER - City Hall Council Chambers (31 Wakefield St.) - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday

There's a few air conditioned places in my little town - such as our library. (Gilman Library - Main St.). It might also be a good day to catch a movie or something of the sort. Anyhow, stay cool.
