The European tax method seems reasonably fair. Just add a tax to everything that has a price or value. Whenever that item gets resold a tax is added. From the raw material supplier up to the retailer that sells the finish product. Now everyone will say. Everything will be expensive!!!!!! But at least we won't have to worry about paying personal, property etc. taxes. And no more forms to fill out!
The one that spends the most money pays more taxes than the one that pays the least. If you save your money you will not get tax!
