I'll admit, Grady, the name of the super market was a play on words. I'm not familiar with the dog and "Because of WinnDixie" ,however. I can tell you this: almost all the Winn Dixies here are gone now. There were three or four when I came 10 years ago...only one left, that I know of. They went fast...hope I last a little longer!!
