Hey, here's a piece of usefull info if you ever find yourself out in the water somewhere without a pfd. The spar markers have enough buoyancy to support a swimmer. Just position the spar marker, which is a 4" diameter x 10' pvc pipe full of floatation foam, between your legs and sit on it horizntally sort of like a bicycle. It should keep your head and shoulders above the water. It requires a bit of a balancing act, so it gives you something to do while waiting to be rescued.

Good to know for the next time you fall off a boat late at night or something and get too tired to tread water. Probably does not work with the flashers....but does work with the black/red & white spars.
