"Raw Water" cooled or
"Closed Cooling" with anti freeze...?
I would think it would be possible to wear out the bearings in a belt driven pump IF the drive belt had been adjusted Too Tight. You probably already know that Bravo drives (1,2 &3) do NOT have a water pump IN the drive itself. NB
