Default 3.5-4 in Alton

This snow is the heaviest I have tried to move in a long time. It seems to be compressing right after it falls, making a good total hard to calculate. Someone (or anyone) smarter than me can probably give figures based on water content. I personally won't even begin to try.

Shovelled off the problem area of my roof and put some calcium chloride down to aid in melt off up there. Have to go to work tonight and hopefully I will not have to get up on the roof and 1030 or 1100.

Those who are shovelling, take it really slow and don't try to move too much at a time.
