My forum name comes from my family and friends. They always thought of me as a landlubber. When I first bought a boat they all took pleasure in chiding me by referring to me as The Skipper.

Here comes The Skipper they would say. Is The Skipper going boating this weekend? They would ask if The Skipper had his ship together. What does The Skipper want for dinner. Things like that and those that are unfit for a family forum

. To thwart them teasing me with that handle I started calling myself The Skipper. I embraced the name and I came to like it. The Skipper is now done explaining his name (hard to refer to myself in the 3rd person).

Now, how about the rest of you! If you are a registered user then log in and post to this thread. All the posts are enjoyable. I came out of hiding to post to this thread and you should too. You know you are out there
