I am lucking that I have a 35 gallon gas caddy with a pump so therefore do not get my gas at a marina. I'm wondering where the tipping comes in. Do any of you remember when the gas station attendant came out washed you windshield and checked under the hood, if so did you or you dad tip the man. Mine never did and when I pumped gas for an afternoon and night part time job I NEVER got a tip. So what is the difference except for the occasional help tie up and a rag to clean up
their mess, we did a lot more than that and our pay was way less I'm sure.
This is no way any type of a complaint, but just wondering the reason how it would have gotten started in the first place.
