My neighbor got ticketed for (alone) towing his youngest skier behind 10-HP!
As to the ice, I've navigated my outboard boat at top speed across "thin" ice floes. It really cleans the bottom of the hull! But on one occasion, because I'd spent so much time out in the Broads, I didn't notice that the wind had "navigated" ice floes to close me out of an ice-free return.
That return was a great deal noisier!
