That's great to hear. I love hearing all the positive stories about local small businesses.

I'm starting to think an IAC should be in every fuel-injected boat owner's spares kit. Mine failed this year too. They are pathetically simple to replace on a GM motor.

I think they fail often on boats due to the lack of a proper air filter. When mine failed, I was able to get it working at the Wolfeboro public dock by removing it and exercising it a bit. Worked fine after that, but I put a new one in anyway and put the old one in my tool box as a spare. If you opt to have one on hand, make sure you have the tools (typically a torx driver) on hand to swap it out. They are not terribly expensive and can save your day/weekend.
