Yah second curve, I was in the trade for years..(Have the crushed discs to prove it) I know it seems odd, but there's not much of a used market for these..Especially if there's a curve. Which is bent for your house alone. If it's a straight shot. usually there's some kind of stop mechanism at the top. They remove that and run the thing onto the top landing. Then separate the track halves. and remove the screws from the mounts. take the whole lot out the door. The distance from the first floor carpet, to the nose of the top landing is your A-B. Anyone with your A-B or less, can use it. They would simply cut the overage off the top with a bandsaw. retaining the same overrun (Distance from the top step nosing to the top end of track.) You could advertise model, condition, and A-B in Craigslist and see what happens. usually though. A rig that cost 3-4K will fetch under a grand..$700 maybe in good nick..
