Called the 7:55-am recorded message down at Lakeport Dam in Laconia and the message today says the water temperature continues to be 78-degrees. If it gets up to 80-degrees, that will be at least an eleven year high, as the highest temp in the records which started in 2000 is 79 which was on July 21, 22, 23 in 2005. Betcha tomorrow's temperature number from 603-527-0071 is 79 or 80 due to the......you guessed it......a little drum roll here......... for........ the heat!
