Same here. As a North American holiday that brings families together.
Note: Canada celebrates their Thanksgiving on the 2nd Monday of October.
A better date in my opinion.

But just remember: the original Thanksgiving was between two parties.
The Pilgrims and the original folks here called then Indians.

Maybe we need a national holiday to celebrate our Native American brothers and sisters.
