Back in either '69 or '70 my older brother use to drive the Miss Winni. He got engaged that summer and had the bachelor party down below the gardens where they keep the boats. After a few toasts (
) someone got the great idea to take the Miss Winni out to see the Weirs Beach fireworks. Of course my brother had a key so 10+ of us piled on the boat. We got maybe 100 ft from the dock when marine patrol came up and laughed (he apparently knew my brother and the reason for the party) He very nicely suggested we might want to put the boat back. Imagine trying that today
