You seem to be kind of hung up on the meal tax thing (having mentioned it in a couple of threads now).

I'll admit, I hadn't even noticed the NH meals tax. My wife and I go out in NH or MA for anything from a "cheap" ($20 tab) to a "nice" ($100+) meal.

MA has a 6.25% meals tax, and some towns have their own .75% meals tax (making it 7% total).

So, on even a $300 bill, the delta between a 9% tax and a 6.25% tax is $8.25. These are not values that cause great duress to my budget at that point.
